Bringing Life & Hope to Communities

Hope Centre & Hope House · 2024

Project Type: Charity

The Hope Centre St Helens operates as a multifaceted charity serving the St Helens community through a diverse range of initiatives. From supporting new parents through their Baby Basics program to providing essential services for homeless individuals at their Hope House Day Centre, the organisation addresses critical needs across the community.

With multiple programs operating under their umbrella, The Hope Centre needed a cohesive brand and communication strategy that could effectively represent their breadth of services while maintaining a unified identity.

Project Details

The Hope Centre approached us with complex communication challenges stemming from their diverse service portfolio. Their existing brand had evolved organically as the organisation grew, resulting in inconsistent visual representation across different programs. This fragmentation made it difficult for community members to recognise the full scope of their work and the connections between initiatives.

Additionally, each program served different demographic groups with distinct needs, requiring communication that could resonate with various audiences while maintaining a cohesive organizational identity. The charity also faced the challenge of clearly articulating their impact across multiple programs to supporters, potential funders and the wider community.

Our Approach

Working in close partnership with The Hope Centre’s leadership, we developed a comprehensive strategy that honoured the unique nature of each initiative while creating a strong, unified organisational identity.

The unified yet flexible brand system has transformed The Hope Centre’s communication effectiveness and organisational impact in several significant ways.
Community awareness of The Hope Centre has substantially increased, with people now recognising the connections between programs they may have previously seen as separate entities.

This broader recognition has expanded their supporter base, as those initially drawn to one program discover and engage with the organisation’s wider work.
